Dr. Kevan Wylie

Dr Wylie is a UK-based consultant in the psychotherapy of relationship and psychosexual disorders, in sexual medicine and andrology (the branch of medicine which deals with functions and diseases which are specific to men).

Currently chairman of the British Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Andrology (BSPOGA) and president of the section of Sexuality and Sexual Health of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), Dr Wylie sits on a number of national and international committees and advisory boards including the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and the World Association of Sexology.

Most recently he became the first ever UK general secretary for the European Federation of Sexology.

From 1999 to 2006 Dr Wylie was editor-in-chief of Sexual & Relationship Therapy, one of the leading international journals in the field of sexual relationship problems across a wide interdisciplinary audience. He lectures extensively to general practitioners, physicians and surgeons, psychotherapists and family planning staff, and has written fact sheets and guidance notes for websites and educational journals on sexual problems.

Dr Wylie provided valuable input into the questionnaire to ensure that it covered all aspects of sexual wellbeing and would successfully identify key information, issues and trends.
